Hello to all! As the title say, I wanted to make a setup with a H shifter + a sequential shifter to get all 18 gears on ETS2. My idea is to make something similar to what some 4x4 pickup trucks have, using the H shifter from 1 to 6, then press foward on the sequential to set to a new range making possible to use the H shifter from 7 to 12. Pressing foward again on sequential would give me 13 I have a really standard sim racing setup and want to slightly upgrade. I am currently using a Driving Force GT and pedals, but I am really not a big fan of the sequential shifter. I play on PC, mostly Forza Horizon 5 and euro truck simulator 2. No truck gearbox (or rather the shifter) is 12-18 gears as single gears. You always have ranges and splits for that, e.g. 6 gears, but two splits, i.e. your first and second gears are on gear lever position 1, the split is shifted via a button or pedal. I use a gamepad to play, I find it does the job and is more convenient than having to setup a wheel and pedals. I've set the clutch to one of my trigger buttons and it shows the axis is responding but the clutch I installed the game, and setup all keys for the G29 WIth H SHifter. However i got this weird problem where i cannot get any gear slot to work. Don,t know exactly how to explain this but when i start the engine and hold the clutch down on the pedal, the shifter is not in standard neutral. When i hold the clutch pedal and ipush the stick of the shifter to the left it says C2 and to the right Then I assume that you also have the Logitech Shifter. Check the following settings: Options -> Gameplay -> TRUCK SETTINGS Transmission Type [H-Shifter] Options -> Controls -> H shifter setup Shifter Position: Reverse [Joy Button 18]* Shifter Position: 1 [Joy Button 12] Shifter Position: 2 [Joy Button 13] Shifter Position: 3 [Joy Button 14] It's what ever you've set it in your game options. So if you've set it to H-Shifter then all trucks will drive as manual. The Scania's auto-shifter is just cosmetic, but in reality almost all trucks in the EU are automatic now.
